The Immigration and Citizenship Law portfolio is centred around International organizations and Agencies, Embassies, Individual expatriates, corporate investors and individuals holding dual citizenships. The enabling law in this area of practice is the Immigration Act (Chapter 4:02) and attendant regulations.

The Firm’s service includes but is not limited to securing Temporary Employment Permits, Investors Residence Permits, Ordinary Residence Permits, Permanent Residence Permits, Visa and Visa extensions. This service is dominated by mostly European clientele looking to relocate to Zimbabwe and International Organization staff who after finishing their mandates are eager to stay in the country.

There has been a remarkable growth in this practice area due to the opening up of the economy and the favourable investment climate. This has resulted in improved application from Foreign Nationals wishing to work and invest in Zimbabwe.

More increasingly, the service also includes lobbying the relevant executive authority being the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign affairs in negotiating on behalf of International Agencies in enforcing contractual obligations undertaken by the Government in relation to the Immigration status of the seconded staff working for these multi-lateral organizations.
