About Us

Our name: Titan Law

In Greek mythology, the Titans ruled the universe as a group of powerful deities many years before the Olympian gods. They were held in high regard as they each birthed various aspects of the universe; they were respected as the givers of human law and the deciders of fate.

Similarly, at Titan Law our ethos is to establish standards for greatness and achievement in our collective command of the law, while surpassing the expectations of our clients in our legal service delivery.

Our Emblem: The Owl

The Owl is a figure of good fortune in Greek Mythology and an omen of fear in Cameroon, associated with wisdom, distraction of sight, and fierce intelligence. As our emblem, the Owl personifies our position on the legal battlefield: we are highly vigilant, patient, wise and accurate on strike.

Our Philosophy

The Firm has several Practice Groups, in which its legal practitioners have considerable expertise. We apply our knowledge of the law together with our knowledge of the market, thereby providing effective solutions and delivering tremendous value. Our clients have described the lawyers at Titan Law as “uncompromisingly protective of a clients’ interests”.

Our History

The firm was established in 2004 by its present senior partner, Gerald Nqobile Mlotshwa.

Over the years, the firm has grown into one of the larger law firms in Zimbabwe, taking also into account the value of transactions it handles in any given year. Certainly, its brand, Titan Law, is the most recognized brand on the market.

The practice is a full practice law firm with a strong bias toward the natural resources, corporate and financial services sectors. It is a market leader in land reform and investment in agriculture.

Mining and property law are also strong practice areas for the firm, as is high stakes litigation and advice in Zimbabwe’s corporate boardrooms. Titan Law is well respected in the market place for formulating and implementing legal strategies in the resolution of corporate and commercial transactions and disputes.

The firm has a second office in the city of Bulawayo, and wholly owns Titan Legal Inc, a Seychelles pan-African corporate advisory firm domiciled in Mauritius.
