Julian is one of the Partners at Titan Law, and is the Head of the Litigation; Private Law; and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She is also the Managing Partner of the firm’s Bulawayo Office. Her expertise is in Civil Litigation, Recoveries, Legal Research, Business Law, and Family Law.

 

Julian started her career in 2009 at the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, where she drafted legal memoranda and briefs from submissions made by the Prosecution. She then proceeded to work in the Office of the Registrar at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague. Her duties incorporated drafting internal legal and administrative memoranda, conducting comparative research to novel areas of law, and assisting the Special Assistants to the Registrar in preparing for diplomatic meetings which the Registrar was involved by way of drafting speeches and talking points of note at such meetings.

 

Julian returned to Zimbabwe in 2011, and joined Titan Law as an Associate. Over the years, she has nurtured her interest in litigation, particularly in Civil Litigation. She has been involved in mining disputes, delictual matters, matrimonial disputes, divorces, and various cases involving children, including child protection across borders, adoption, custody, maintenance and access, and guardianship.

 

Julian has an interest in human rights, and a passion for ensuring equal access to the law, with a bias towards women. She also sits on various Boards, in respects of which she offers legal counsel.
